1958: Wally Dean who at the time was the regional manager for LORD Corp., started Vibration Isolation Products Corp (VIP) which manufactured aircraft engine mounts, ship fenders, marine products and seals.
1983: VIP was purchased by Vibrachoc, SA, a French subsidiary of Alstom.
1990: VIP was acquired by Village Marine Tec. (VMT)
1991: VMT purchased the rights for all Firestone Engineered Rubber Products.
2008: Parker Hannifin Corp acquired VMT which included Vibration Isolation Products Manufacturing Plant.
2010: FTG, Inc. purchased Vibration Isolation Products Manufacturing plant from Parker Hannifin Corp.
