About Us
1958: Wally Dean who at the time was the regional manager for LORD Corp., started Vibration Isolation Products Corp (VIP) which manufactured ship fenders, marine products, and seals.
1983: VIP was purchased by Vibrachoc, SA, a French subsidiary of Alstom.
1990: VIP was acquired by Village Marine Tec. (VMT)
1991: VMT purchased the rights for all Firestone Engineered Rubber Products.
2008: Parker Hannifin Corp acquired VMT which included Vibration Isolation Products Manufacturing Plant.
2010: FTG, Inc. purchased Vibration Isolation Products Manufacturing plant from Parker Hannifin Corp.
VIP’s experience in shock and vibration isolation spans over 60 years. We have engineered solutions for Transportation (Automotive, Rail, Truck/Bus, Agriculture, Recreational and Marine), Manufacturing (Industrial Assembly and Process Industries), Construction (Civil Engineering and Off-Highway Vehicles) and Electronics (Chip Assembly and Component Assembly).
